The Flood Collection Playing Cards

In 2024 Hurricane Helene completely devastated Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. 80% of the River arts district in Asheville was destroyed and an estimated 600 artists lost their studios, equipment, and art work. 

Local artist, Erica Schaffel, worked with Art x Love to produce The Flood Collection, a casino-quality deck of 54 playing cards featuring works of art lost or damaged during Hurricane Helene. 

All proceeds from the sale of these cards is split evenly between the 54 impacted artists featured in this deck.
